Lorenza Sannai
b. 1969
Lorenza Sannai (b. 1969) has exhibited in America in various shows organized by the American Abstract Artists Association. For this association, she curated "Ten Ways", a traveling exhibition in Europe (Milan, Bonn, Berlin, Paris) for which she published a companion catalog.
In Hudson, NY, she participated in group exhibitions, one of which took place in 2021 at Hudson Hall, the local kunsthalle, and in previous years at the Gris Gallery and BCB Art Gallery. In Italy, Sannai debuted two solo exhibitions in Cagliari at Spazio In(visible) 2017 and at Spazio E_Emme 2021. In 2019, she was invited to participate in the PREMIO LISSONE, the Lissone Museum Award. Recent exhibitions in Italy include a solo show in Mantua at Spazio Arrivabene2 in 2020 and a duo show at the Casa del Mantegna in 2019.
Lorenza Sannai also had an artist residency in 2013 in Poor Farm-Manawa, WI, managed by Brad Killam and Michelle Grabner. Her work was recently acquired by The Ewing Gallery of Art + Architecture-University of Tennessee and other private collections.
Her works have been published in the Blurring Boundaries catalog edited by Rebecca di Giovanna and in “The Onward of Art” catalog for the American Abstract Artists 80th Anniversary Exhibition.
The personal catalog "Beyond Measure" was published by Corraini Editore in the spring of 2022.
